I was lost in this software for almost an hour and didn’t even had to open Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox (or Internet Explorer for those who still use IE). The advantage being, I was surfing the internet like I regularly do and was downloading videos (plus converting them to the most comfortable format any one of us can dream of) simultaneously. All this was happening in just one single piece of software and this made my life look extremely simple. I was in heaven, literally!

VDownloader is extremely simple to use application with 5 buttons on its left side bar that are enough to control your computer as well as your complete surfing habits. The small size of the setup file (6.62 MB on my system) makes it easy to download and less CPU hungry. The application can be made to run in background so that your favorite videos are download regularly while you are busy handling other useful tasks of yours. One might not believe this but the simple looking features of VDownloader make this application the complete video downloading engine that video junkies die for.
Design
Just once, take a close look at the screenshot below and try to find out something complex in this application.

So, were you actually able to find anything overly complex in your first glance? Hell no! The reason is simple. Complexity and VDownloader are two totally opposite words that have no relationship whatsoever between themselves. VDownloader has been designed keeping in mind the average Internet user who is not aware (and not even interested) in anything fancy while he/she is busy searching for some of the best videos. The Activity Button is where the basic feature of the application lies.

As show above, all that you have to do is enter the Video URL and opt for the output format in which you want your downloaded video to be saved. The application has various forms of output formats available that will make life a lot easier for an average video downloader. From windows media player compatibility to iPad compatibility, VDowloader handles everything without any downsides.
One can set default output formats by changing the settings of the applications so that all videos are download in that particular format by default. Setting timers, default folders to save downloaded videos, surfing your downloaded history, surfing through your disk to look for more videos, searching videos from the Internet and surfing the web for your own personal use are some of the few features that VDownloader boasts about.
Features
The tiny VDownloader has plenty of features which (at times) contradict its size but (somehow) are unbelievably true. As you can always surf through all the features of VDownloader on its website henceforth, we will concentrate on some of the attractive features that make this simple looking application extraordinary.

VDownloader supports more than 10 languages thus making it extremely easy to use for people from around the planet. Nobody has been spared from YouTube mania. Not even a single country. With the spur of YouTube people have constantly tried to download different videos from YouTube for there collection and also to avoid bandwidth problems. Such softwares that can be used by users in any part of the world tend to increase their reach amongst its customers. From English to Chinese, VDownloader can understand literally anything.

<ins style="border: medium none; display: inline-table; height: 280px; margin: 0pt; padding: 0pt; position: relative; visibility: visible; width: 336px;"><ins style="border: medium none; display: block; height: 280px; margin: 0pt; padding: 0pt; position: relative; visibility: visible; width: 336px;"></ins></ins>

Here comes one of the best features of VDownloader – scheduler! You can edit software settings so that the application downloads videos only during weekends, weekdays or during some predefined hours thus making your downloading habits highly controllable. Decide the time when your Internet bandwidth is least used and set VDownloader to complete the downloads during that time period. Now, you won’t have to face slow Internet problems due to parallel downloads and you won’t even have to worry about starting/stopping downloads when your Internet is free. VDownloader does the honors for you.

To add on to the above scheduler feature one can go ahead and start batch downloads (check File Menu) during those free hours so as to utilize your Internet bandwidth to the max. After all you are paying for the same then why not squeeze out even the last drop from the bandwidth that you receive?

Lets face the reality! No Internet based downloader is complete without the search based feature. Folks behind VDownloader are also pretty much aware of the above fact hence they have come up with their own kind of search feature. You search for what you want to download and Vdownloader will search for the same keywords in four different websites at the same time. Later on it will be your choice if you want to watch the video online or rather download it for your collection. The websites that VDownloader search supports are YouTube, Google, Yahoo! Video and DailyMotion (literally enough to quench your thirst for videos!)

Lastly, the side feature of VDownloader that makes it the perfect package. Using the web feature of VDownloader you can surf literally any website and download videos from that website provided that the particular page has some video that can be downloaded.
Conclusion
All in all, Vdownloader is the perfect package for those who are looking for a free video downloader with basic features and something extra for those who are looking for a video downloader which is different from its counterparts. It is worth a try due to its small size and CPU cycle saving capabilities. No reasons why one should not try VDownloader at least once.

Samsung and Verizon: Reality U820

Samsung has just joined the smart phones race with their new phone Reality U820. We all know about Samsung and its phones but will it have enough to compare with older players such as iPhone and HTC?

Verizon Wireless and Samsung united on this one and they have released the new Reality U820 phone. I must say that design looks promising and it resembles to the Motorola Droid phone because of the QWERTY slide out keyboard. As for other specifications it has 3 inch 240×400 touch screen display, and it is bit smaller in screen size than its competition but it comes with decent 3.2 Megapixel camera with night shot mode and video recording.
As for connectivity it has Bluetooth but unlike competition it doesn’t have WiFi support for some reason. New Reality has email support that works with Microsoft Office Exchange allowing synchronization with the desktop or remote server. Also it allows you to access to social networking sites, has media center and visual voice mail. It has standard storage that allows up 16 GB microSD card. When it comes to price this new Samsungs smart phone can be purchased for 79.99$ with two year contract with Verizon.

Bottom line is that this is quite a nice phone from Samsung, but Reality U820 doesn’t have enough to deal with other competitors such as HTC or iPhone. Still it’s Samsung first smart phone and it’s a lot cheaper than others and I’m sure that the newer models will give better results soon enough.
[via iTech News]

Apple MacBook Pro Core i7 MC373LL/A Laptop

Here’s LogicBUY deal of the day for a Apple MacBook Pro MC373LL/A Laptop. The idea is to provide many different forms of lighting from one source, to be a lightweight product to take when camping or for general use.

The FLEXI is basically a silicon sheet which features a row of LED lights at one end of it. The sheet of silicon is meant to be rectangular and very thin, to allow it to take up little room while being light weight. By having the LED lights incorporated into the design only along one edge it allows the sheet to be used in many different ways. By positioning the lights at one end of it when rolled up, the FLEXI can be used as a torch, the multiple LEDs giving it a bright beam of directed light. By rolling it with the LEDs along one edge you create a longline light, and by leaving the silicon mat flat you create a useful ambient light source.
Though LEDs do not require much electricity to work, they do require some. Thus far there is no suggestion of where a power source would be placed and incorporated into the design. It would be nice to see maybe a flexible solar panel also built into the light.
Source: TuVie

Blue Flow Concept Monitors Your Asthma Via Your Phone

If you’re asthmatic, you’re probably always paying attention to your health in order to make sure that everything is fine.
But if you’re always having to visit the doctor to make sure everything is fine, it could end up being expensive and not to mention time consuming. That’s why a designer has come up with Blue Flow, which is a system that combines a peak flow monitor with your mobile phone software, allowing information to be wirelessly transferred to your phone for your doctor to monitor over the long run. They do this for different reasons, but the most common is the fascination that they have for the item. It’s actually a feeling of self-fulfillment. And so if you happen to be one of them and your particular interest is collecting watches, for sure you’ll be very interested with what this article features – a unique and new concept of time called the Moonwatch.

The Moonwatch is a new project by The Emotion Lab, an industrial design studio that does more than just design objects. The founders of this studio wanted to ensure that their creations would be able to generate and provoke emotions and experiences that users will never forget. And that’s exactly what they did with their Moonwatch. At first glance, you might think that it’s just like an ordinary watch. But wait until you take a closer look, you will notice that it shows you the time by hour or by phase of the moon. According to The Emotion Lab, they designed it that way so that the end user will be able to reflect upon and gain a closer understanding of their mood based on nature. Cool eh!
So why don’t you add this unique Moonwatch to your collection? Though it does not tell the time as easy as the other watches around, but still keeping one will sure be worth it.

Multitasking for iPad App now available for Apple iPad

AdsSpy: 4 sites by this AdSense ID

Multitasking for iPad is an application that brings multitasking to the Apple iPad for three pieces of software. The application allows Safari, Twitter and Facebook to multitask.
The application uses a version of the Safari browser from Apple [AAPL] which is already allowed by developers.
Mixed in to that browser is the functionality of Twitter and Facebook that can run at the same time allowing you to browse the web while checking status updates and sending tweets.
The Multitasking for iPad uses a dual-pane view that allows Safari to run in the main window. Windows then pop open within the application where you can download data from Twitter and Facebook
Although this certainly isn’t the multitasking we saw when iPhone OS 4.0 was announced, it certainly is a decent in-between step that you can install while waiting for the official OS 4.0 update that will arrive later this year and perhaps you might find that it offers a very good experience which is exactly what we have heard from several sources.
The next application the same company have created is called Multitasking Browser that works in a similar way although uses a dual-browser configuration (rotating to landscape focuses on the main window) whereby around 20 mobile apps can be run in a second window such as GMail, GTalk and various other applications.
Each application costs $2.99 and each are available now from the iTunes store.
Multitasking for iPad – Available here
Multitasking Browser – Available here
Via: Mobile Ent

Canon EOS 7D Firmware 1.2.1 Launched

Canon have launched a firmware update for the Canon EOS 7D camera that fixes a number of minor problems including the vertical magenta-coloured banding that has been spotted on some still images.

Firmware Version 1.2.1 incorporates the following improvements and fixes.

1. Corrects a phenomenon in which vertical magenta-colored banding appears in still images taken in movie-shooting mode.
(This only occurs when in Manual exposure mode and when the ISO speed is set to “H”. It’s a new graphics card, called Asus Ares 5970, and just as old ATI Radeon HD 5970 this one uses two 5870 graphics cards in one.

I have to admit that this monster from Asus looks huge and I’m afraid that it might break your motherboard in half, but unlike good old ATI Radeon HD 5970 that uses two 5870s graphics cards, slightly underclocked this new beast from Asus uses two of the same cards with full power and without any underclocking allowing it to work at full speed without any problems. So much power requires that you connect your card to the auxiliary power connector on your motherboard in order to keep it running. Asus Ares 5970 has beaten old Radeon HD 5970 in most benchmark tests and it uses 260W to 294W of power. So in order to use this thing at full power you might need Extreme Edition Core i7 and Rampage motherboard but that’s only if you’re a hardcore gamer. Without a doubt Asus Ares 5970 will satisfy all you gaming needs and it will be able to run all the latest games without any problems.

Only limitation is the price of this graphics card, and I’m sure it won’t be cheap and besides the price, there have been speculations that this card won’t be released in the United States. So if you’re a hardcore gamer I’ll suggest that you start saving money for thing because it will be worth it.
[via Geeky Gadgets, CrunchGear]

NASA R2: The first human like robot in space

We have seen many robots come from NASA during the years which have been sent into space , but none of them looked so much like a human, until now. The new model known as R2 will be the first robot in outer space that will actually help the astronauts with their research.

This human like robot known carries the name Robonaut 2 or R2 and it’s the successor of older Robonaut model. It has been developed by NASA and the GM and it has been announced that that R2 will be traveling to the Space Station in September. Unlike his predecessor this model is more flexible and designed to help out the astronauts with lifting heavy objects. Although R2 resembles like a human with two arms he moves with set of 4 wheels which makes him perfect for exploring planet surfaces. Many robots were sent into space before but none of them looked like a human more that this one. How much this model will actually help the astronauts remains to be seen, because his movement isn’t tested in a zero gravity space. Anyway, I guess that we will have to wait until September to see how R2 and the space crew work together in a space station.

One thing is certain, R2 is a great step both for robotics and space explorations, I’m positive that robots are the future when it comes to space explorations, and I’m sure that there will be more robots in space soon enough.
[via Geeky Gadgets, DVICE]

Turn your Droid into a gaming console with Game Gripper

When it comes to Motorola Droid we all know what a great cell phone it is, but did you know that you can make your Motorola even better for gaming? That’s right, you can make gaming on Droid much easier thanks to Game Gripper.

Game Gripper is accessory for Motorola Droid that will make you feel that you’re actually playing on handheld console rather than on cell phone. There might be some great games for this phone, but playing them with build in keyboard just doesn’t feel right, won’t you agree? Well, GameGripper will give you that look and feel that you require while playing on your Droid. It’s a simple accessory, with simple design that is just placed over your keyboard. With his white color and red set of buttons it makes your phone look more like a gaming console than a phone, and feeling is also much better. Instead of pressing keyboard buttons like on any other phone with Game Gripper you just have to play it like on the standard console controller. With its directional buttons and 8 additional buttons it will make gaming a whole lot easier and comfortable.

Since it’s positioned above your keyboard pressing the buttons on it will result in pressing the exact buttons on your keyboard, making gaming a much smoother than before. It’s rather simple solution that will help you to enjoy games on your Droid and with the price of only 15 $, you can say that’s quite good investment.
[via Geeky Gadgets]
<div id="TixyyLink" style="background-color: transparent; This beautiful excuse to don an oversized hat is just the same as the Penny Farthing bicycles of yore, and is a brilliant way of getting around in style.
The front wheel is a whopping 36 inches, while the rear wheel comes in at a slightly more reasonable 12 inches, giving you that classic elevated position associated with this most barmy of bikes.
Of course, we'd be barmy to send you off pedalling into the sunset with the safety features of a vintage Penny Farthing (otherwise your newly bought oversized hat might end up squished under an articulated lorry), so this new version has all the modern safety standards you'd expect. The frame is made of durable steel, the pedals are anti-slip (not sure what that entails, but it's bound to be a good thing), there's a brake on the rear wheel and the saddle has spring suspension to make your ride a little smoother.
In seriousness, there's hardly anything more eye-catching than seeing someone roll past on one of these lovely items. They're perfect for leisurely Sunday bike rides, fairs, events or basically any occasion when you want to stand out from the usual fleet of bog-standard cyclists.

Features

A full-size Penny Farthing bicycle.

Accurate replica of the age-old original style.

Features a 32" front wheel and 12" back wheel.

Durable steel frame.

Steel cranks with anti-slip pedals.

Brake on rear wheel.

Spring suspension on saddle to ensure comfortable ride.

Air tires.

Suitable for ages 16 years +.

Size:-

Front wheel 32".

Back wheel 12".

BioTrainer Weight Loss System

The Bio Trainer simplifies the process of tracking your activity which is very helpful in the quest for achieving weigh-loss and a healthier lifestyle. Truly makes a great motivator for weight loss and a healthier lifestyle.
Features

Tracks calories burned

Monitors daily activity with a 9-day memory

Clock with timer

Button cell battery included, Belt clip for easy attachment

Medically tested and clinically proven effective

Find yours here: BioTrainer Weight Loss System

moodINQ Lets You Be Your Own Tattoo Artist

It comes a time in a person’s life where he/she wants to have some body modifications done. By body modification, I mean getting piercings or having a tattoo. It is a fact of life though that there is discrimination against people who have these, but you cannot let your self expression be watered down! What you can do is have this new tattoo concept of moodINQ.

The moodINQ is a programmable tattoo system that allows you to have a tattoo having the design that you want when you want it. It is just like a tattoo sleeve with the option to choose any design and remove it anytime. You just have to get an e-ink grid done on your skin by the company’s partners in the cosmetic industry. The grid placement can depend on your preference – either on your arms, lower back, shoulders, etc. After about 2-3 days of healing period from the canvass implant, you can now put any design that you want. You just have to run the moodINQ wand over the canvass area and the design would already appear. You can get the classic “mom” tattoo or probably get that tramp stamp that you wanted ever since. When you are going to a trip at your parents’ home, you can easily remove the design using the wand and your skin will be back like it was before. Just choose a new design and run the tattoo over to have your tattoo back.
Each kit includes the moodINQ wand, computer software (Mac and PC), and a 2 year membership to moodINQ’s tattoo art database. The e-ink canvass implant is separate from this purchase and price depends on the size and placement.
Get the tattoo that you want without commitments using moodINQ!

Handheld Video Inspection Camera – You Will Need It One Day

Even if you don’t have plans to be a spy, there will come a time that you will feel the need for a Handheld Video Inspection Camera. At one point in your life, you will need to look for frayed wiring, mouse tunnels, and to see what’s hiding under your fridge or in every dark corner of your home.

This is where the importance of a Handheld Video Inspection Camera comes in.
This is such a unique and very helpful device because it lets you take shots that were nearly impossible before such as capturing video footage in a dark or overcrowded place. Big thanks to the camera’s flexible video borescope that features built-in adjustable dual LED light source, it is able to shed light on dark places or corners where you want to shoot. You can outfit the camera’s 3-ft cable with a clip-on mirror, a hook, or a magnet.
There’s also a flexible gooseneck that holds the camera while you are taking a video footage. You can view the recorded scene in the camera’s 2.5-inch screen. Best is, this handheld video camera is glare-free and it boasts high resolution, enabling you to capture clear videos.
Perfect for spies at heart, the Handheld Video Inspection Camera is highly portable and is water resistant down to three ft so it can be brought during your missions no matter what the weather condition may be. It is powered by four AA batteries for three hours so it is more advisable to get a set of rechargeables.
The Handheld Video Inspection Camera is available at this site for a price you can afford.

QStarZ SR-Q2100 10-in-1 GPS Navigation Device

QStarZ launches the SR-Q2100 10-in-1 GPS Navigation Device that offers Track Logger, Cycle Computer, Location Finder, Digital Compass, Router Guider, IPX-7 waterproof, E-temperature, QPlanner software for route pre-planning, QSports software for health management and QTravel software for travel logging and geotagging.

The device features a 1.8-inch LCD display with backlight support, it has a 20-channel GPS chip and built-in low noise antenna. The Gibson Reverse V has a solid mahogany reverse body, with a set neck and ebony fingerboard. The neck profile is a hybrid between a 50’s/60’s shaped neck. The guitar ships with the vintage ‘57 classic pickups & one volume control.

Innovative. Groundbreaking. Daring. Revolutionary. Those are the words most commonly used to describe Gibson’s legendary Flying V, first introduced in 1958. In 2007, when Gibson took it a step further with the bold and fearless Reverse Flying V, people coudn’t believe their eyes. Smart guitarists grabbed one while they could, nabbing one of the most popular and collectible Gibson electrics of the past 20 years.
